Why Lions?

LIONS AS members of community service clubs, are dedicated to the    idea that the men and women who live in a community are in the best position to know who needs help and why.    More than 44,500 strong, these local clubs are part of the world's largest service club organization, with 1,436,764 members serving in more than 180 countries and areas.    The association is both non-political and non-sectarian.

Lions are now best known for their sight-related programs, including SightFirst, the world's largest blindness prevention program.

Lions Are. . .

Members of the world's largest and most active service club organization.

Men and women
who believe that by working together they will accomplish far more than would be possible as individuals.

Members committed
to solving worldwide health and social problems, and who realize that solutions are possible when every Lions club does its share.

People who
cherish the fellowship of their own club, but who also feel a close kinship with Lions in over 180 countries and areas throughout the world.

Patriotic citizens
of their own countries, who, in the global community, strive for a world at peace.

Individuals dedicated
to maintaining the highest ethical and moral standards in their club. . . and in their personal lives.

People who
are serious about their commitment to humanitarian service, but have fun along the way.

Presidents Message. . .

Hello. My name is Waid Tribiano, Pinellas Park Lions Club and Foundation President for 2009/2010. I want to welcome you to our new and improved website in which you can see the club working at a fingers touch. This site is dedicated to providing information and serve as a tool for those needing access to the Pinellas Park Lions Foundation, Inc. for assistance with eye care.  Those living within the city limits of Pinellas Park in Florida need only apply.

Our website shows you what we do for the community, how we raise money and public awareness, etc. It will bring you to the District, State, and International level. Our goal is to raise money for eye care and the blind; along with other services where none are available.  No Lion member gets paid - it is all volunteer work.

Take a look at the website and if you can support us in any way either with time to help raise money or a financial contribution to The Pinellas Park Lions Foundation, Inc. would greatly appreciate it and your donation is tax exempted based on current IRS guidelines!

If you have any questions, please contact me personally. Thank you for your interest.

Waid Tribiano

President, Pinellas Park Lions Club and Foundation
