Why Lions?LIONS AS members of community service clubs, are dedicated to the idea that the men and women who live in a community are in the best position to know who needs help and why. More than 44,500 strong, these local clubs are part of the world's largest service club organization, with 1,436,764 members serving in more than 180 countries and areas. The association is both non-political and non-sectarian. Lions are now best known for their sight-related programs, including SightFirst, the world's largest blindness prevention program.

Presidents Message. . .Hello. My name is Pete Lozier, Pinellas Park Lions Foundation President for 2006/2007. I want to welcome you to our new and improved website in which you can see the club working at a fingers touch. This site was constructed by our club member, Pete Lozier who volunteered his business service and made this possible. Our website shows you what we do for the community, how we raise money and public awareness, etc. It will bring you to the District, State, and International level. Our goal is to raise money for the blind and offer services where none are available. This is one of the few service organizations left where 100% of the money raised goes back into the community as well as other Lion organizations. No Lion member gets paid - it is all volunteer work. Take a look at the website and if you can support us in any way either with time to help raise money or a financial contribution, we would greatly appreciate it. If you have any questions, please contact me personally. Thank you for your interest.
